Patrick B. Miller

Patrick B. Miller is a professor and the chair of history at Northeastern Illinois University, the author of the forthcoming The Playing Fields of American Culture: Athletics and Higher Education, 1850-1945, and a coauthor, with David K. Wiggins, of The Unlevel Playing Field: A Documentary History of the African American Experience in Sport (2003). He has also edited The Sporting World of the Modern South (2002) and coedited The Civil Rights Movement Revisited (2001).
